I asked Ross to get me a screenshot of the guy waving the flag..

he got me this




but I found this guy waving flag in my game




how do I get the suit guy to wave me a flag

Yeah, things like that can really ruin your race :-P
Seriously, see in anim wad if texture is there, maybe you overwrote it while installing pitcrews, or something like that.

i get the marshal guy too, and the textures there in the anim.wad, this was discussed a few weeks ago, but no solution

well maybe some tracks use marshall, some use suit. or championship uses suit.
the first 2 pics are diffeferent tracks arent they?

and I did it again today morn and still got the marshall waving the flag.

yeah i get marshalls all the time

different track versions? see the end left stand on yours but not ross's. maybe the chqrdflg waving guy is in the track wad, and it's been edited?

dudes, its just pot-luck who you get.

sometimes you get the suit guy, sometimes a marshall. its just a bug with the game. it forgets its meant to load the suit guy, so loads a marshall instead.

could it be to do with whether you use 9.6 patch version or not?

I do use 9.6!:D everyone here does! Including ross!

I just had a great idea, im replacing the marshall textures with suit man, and maybe my pitcrew, crazy pitstop time!
