i tried that still didnt work
pic now works tho and no i wont change the visor as its perfect in side view that 3d pic is angled thats why it looks wierd il have a look at the bottom of the chin tho

just one thing, anyone noticed on the ferrari drivers helmets, the HANS pin things are now attached 'inside' the helmet, if yu nderstand what i mean. before, they used to hook onto the buttons, not it seems they are permanently attached.

fisi's hans in indy is chrome and fits the rest of the helmet

Musk_c is right, but only on Schumbert helmet I think. Take a look at this shot of Taku and Schumi. Taku has an Arai helmet and Schumy a Schubert one.



As you can see, in Schumi's helmet', Hans "belts" go into the helmet, in Taku's one they don't.

Many driver used to have personal designed Hans in CART too We just need to map Hans into the helmet tex and not into another tex

This is not entirely true that all Schuberth's have the clips internally - have a look at Ralf's helmet in the pic further back in this thread - it has them on the outside. Granted, that maybe an old pic, and they might have changed them too.
I think it might be due to Areodynamic efficientcy.

Also, just to let you all know that Webber is using Schuberths now too, as well as the Schumis', Rubens & Heidfeld.

Two questions -
1) Will they be Hi Res?
2) How do you get the visors to display with the helmets, when you do a preview image?
When I download a Hi Res helmet, I get the TEX Files, and manage to extract them into TGA's. This is so I can play around with them, to turn them into Hi Res's for "F1 Challange" game (as I play that too - kept for me only, and not distributed).
But like I said, they are without the Visor in the TGA's, but yet, some people display their finished helmets with visors in them already.

What is the best program for viewing helmets with? I just load up the TEX's with Text Editor.

@ Montana_UK, they are all hi-res helmets ni this thread i think.

and there a re 2 tex files for each helmet, the 2nd file has the visor on it.

i think they use ZModeler to display the helmet in their previews.
