brakes locking

Hey guys,
Is this just a bug?

ive noticed it since gp2, 3 and now in 4 that the brakes alwqays lock...

I dont know if its my driving style,. as the car stays online and i get great lap times (in comparison with computer cars)

most of my car setups are d/l'd with minor adjustments, but i cant solve the brakes!

are the brakes locking as soon as you hit them or is it just a small lock at the end of your braking? i use the keys and its very rare that the brakes dont lock at some point when braking.

i use keys too, yeah its not a constant locking, jsut at some point.. usually nearer the end of braking

it's not a bug it's how it's suposed to be..

Use a wheel and pedals and you can stop that.....

ahh kewl, so it only locks because you need full pressure on the keys..

keys are normally digital, so the brakes are either not one at all, or fully on, so you will get locking.

i use a PS2 pad, with the joysticks for steering and accelerating.braking, and i lockup sometimes, because the travel of the stick is quite short.

well i know that, but casabonka said so it only locks because you need full pressure on the keys implying that there is more than just on and off with keys.

lol o well.....maybe an idea for teh future...i think ill patent the idea.....jokes


Would be kool, but it probably break it when im in a stress with the comp pr summin! lol

It locks using the keyboard because the keys have 2 movements as it is either not pressed or being fully pressed. You can avoid this with a steering wheel because you can push the pedal a bit or a lot. Make sense?
