slipstream

Test Update 3 with slipstream can be downloaded [ here ] -> registered user only

I restrict the download for registered user only because it's actually beta project, and on most situations won't be good to be used by end-users.

Slipstream will also coming with a mod (not mine) released this month, along with some new tweaks such as FF effects and custom helmet visor/dirt effect.

I remember when I played GP3 mainly on ovals and dirty air was definately an issue I couldn't follow a car through, say turn 3 of the indy track, unless I wanted to end up in the walls..

I dont think so bojan.

I think they do Bojan, but it often causes them to crash. There's an option in the ini file which allows you to set it for the player car only though. The problem is the AI isn't programmed to deal with this slipstream effect, and will drive normally when behind other cars. You'll then find cars running off the track on fast corners.

the slipstream thingy works with me (i find it annoying) but not the cc cars. its turned on in the ini file but they can just follow me and other cc cars like normal

What do I change in teh ini to limit it just to my car?

open the ini file and it will tell you
