Is there a way we could make better and bigger sparks for GP4??

I've tried to find the tex containing the sparks, but it seems the place is limitted, but maybe i'm wrong.

I think it would be a lot better if we could adapt this...

so, any progress on making the sparks better or more visible (even though we hardly see them in real life nowadays, only the plank being ground down sometimes)
