Help With Updating Liveries Please...

Hi guys, I'm new to both GP4 and this forum so hello to all.

At the moment I have:

GP4 (+ 9.6 Patch + Dycrypted .Exe)
GP4 Master 1.2 BETA (+ Major Tom's Editor Compatible Old .EXE)
Wad Updater 2.9

I am having lots of trouble updating car liveries using these programs.

Every time I use WadUpdater the liveries come out just plain white and a little colour of the livery around the sides, and GP4 Master seems to do nothing at all.

Can anyone help me please. Thanks,

Hey dude. Anyone who reads my posts knows I'm of no help whatso-ever.

But, I use Wadupdater 2.9 by Laurent Rosseau instead of Gp4 master and it works absolutely perfectly!

Cheers mate, but like i said, i've used Wad Updater and the car comes out white with a little colour round the sides all of the time.

Hey, don't know but when I first tried this stuff i was re-naming the tex. files, if you do this you get white.

I just extract wad, drag and drop all the new files in after ditching the old tex.files then create the new wad. To change team slots you can re-name the lod files but not the tex. and I learnt the hard way to keep back-ups!

anyone else......??

1) You need to put car models and car textures in

2) Don't rename the textures

Hi Folks,

I have been updating the car shapes and graphics to the 2004 season and as I drive in cockpit view rather than the T-cam, I noticed that many of the new textures have not been updated so that the front of the car has the wrong textures for the cockpit view.

Anybody have the same problem or can help with the right textures.

yeah the cockpit texture is in a different tex file

I tried installing the R24 livery and my car was white, so vi tried again on the R23B by viper and it is perfect!!

Not sure if that helps?

And also wadupdater can not install .tga's. This is annoying for helmets!!
