1988 Mod

runing 1.0.. csm that is... :| i can't run the new one cuz i can't start it :S

I'm running 1.0, should i have a newer version? Didn't even know there was a newer one.

I don't know if i told you this but on loading the mod the names of the drivers don't show up, however the names of the teams do

e.g. Jenson Button / Zakspeed

After i've done a race though, and gone back to the main menu the proper names show then.

its going pretty slow, but the arrows is in progress, and the other 10 cars are all done. just need some touchups.
then theres afew extra features and goodies to do as well.

if you want to test the beta that'd be good.

how big is the beta file? i just got my new pc (xp3200 radeon 9800 pro 1gb DDR 400 etc) - gp4 runs quite nice

only 35mbfor the essentials, plus an extra 60-100mb of optional goodies

-cars
-helmets
-3 types of performance (normal, close, stalls)
-tyres
-menu video
-race order like in 1988

and the things I don't like:
-hands
-steering wheel from cockpit view
-mirrors

anze - the cockpit view is experimental at the moment - needs some work still.
whats wrong with the mirrors? in cp view or tcam?
try turning them on in the graphics settings

try backing up the f1graphics.cfg file in the 1988/data/files folder, and copying your own one in there.
otherwise tweak the mirror settings in the .cfg or in game

What i meant on the nose was that you spent months on it shaping it...

For the urusus logo that depend of the pics. Look on the Fongu pic it isn't here. For me i don't like this logo on the sidepod I prefer the livery without
