just posting my progress with this car. frustration level high for this rookie shaper as it just doesn't look right. i've been searching for tutorials and through a number of forums but i've hit the wall.
prior to this car I've worked/practiced on the 1994 simtek but that has been in the reject bin for quite some time.

any of the experienced shapers fancy making a tutorial on how they make their cars? all right ... stop laughing ... we know you're busy.

i'm willing to mail this beast to anyone that wants to take a look at it and make any suggestions ...

i'll take a look - my emails in my profile.
it looks alright now tho. only 1800 polys is pretty low so you'll be struggling to make it 'amazing' with that low (f2003ga has 9000 i think!)
but it looks pretty nice for that amount any way.

That looks pretty good, wouldnt mind having a look at the simtek, my emails also in my profile

the way is to use detail photos, overlayed onto the background. thats the only tutorial you need really

do you mean like the front, side and top views from blueprints???

or can i rotate the model in USER VIEW so that it matches my model and then I can make the changes ???

yep as far as ive known and tried, u can edit the car in 3d when in USER VIEW. one thing, the only way to move the shape around is to hold down ALT key as ur rotate good luck!
