Why is track editing impossible?

I would like to know why you can't make new tracks or modify the layout of others. Or can you?

Ferrari doesn't need anything, they're btter off with Bridgestone 1) coz they devote 90% of they dev work to Ferrari which is a big plus for testing and such 2) if they went to Michelin there will be 4 top teams all competing for attention from Michelin devs 3) if they do go faster on Michelins ...well ...:P

I am... but I don't have much time to work on GP4, only enough to play it! Not too keen on Assembler either!

Ive given up on ever seeing new tracks for GP4, i use F1C for the new tracks and better handling (IMO DONT HAVE A GO) and GP4 for its stunning modles and textures.
