'94 generic steering wheel/cockpit package

Many thanks to b-tone and justin ziarko how gave me permission to take their works, get it all together and publish as a single package. This '94 generic steering wheel/cockpit package replaces in-cockpit and external steering wheels with one created by justin ziarko, removes all on-wheel graphics (like lcd, tachometer leds etc.) and moves on-wheel pit texts out to the left mirror, which is made by b-tone.

@ Duffer, i advise moving the wheel forward in TeamEditor.

One last thing, is it worth me making a high res version of the wheel?

@Justin - can the steering_wheel_centre.tex be more than 256x256? I guess it is - It would be great having a hiher res one since you had to shrink it a little.

yeah go for it justin, im making hi-res helmets Its just duffer going for these super low poly cars, which still look fab, so cant complain

new version, the steering wheel centre is now 512 and the steering wheel ends i shrinked loads as they don't have any graphics on them. also included is the external wheel for anyone who doesn't yet have the wheel plus the displays set.

do these go with the original wheel posted above?

overwrite with these new files, it doesn't matter if you have the original gp4 or old 94 wheel. hope that makes sense.

The external wheel is great too, but a tad small(the hands don't look as if they're holding the wheel). Could you enlarge it please Justin?

May i also advise, when blanking out the new_steering_wheel_displays.tex file, you should leave the bits that don't feature on the default wheel, but on the cars dashboard, otherwise the cockpit looks threadbare.

hmm aren't you forgetting the tyres?

for the rest; great work! it looks very nice

yeah, i was looking @ the external wheel, does look odd, no time today now to sort it, but tomorow is another day, so i'll see what i can do.
NS, i'm sure the tyres will come as this mod develops.

If no-one has Goodyear slick tyre textures, I have them on my site(white text on tyres, not yellow btw).

ok, i took the time and now updated '94 generic steering wheel/cockpit package available for download. v1.1 features updated hi-rez (512x512) in-cockpit steering wheel and cockpit leds (was missing in previous version, idea - thanks duffer). all graphics updets - thanks Justin.

also i updated Ligier JS39B Renault. Now package includes lod_1 files. They a bit lighter, some parts removed. You can now use them to copy to lower lods.
