GP4 HOTLAP COMP: BARCELONA

Yup, another problem I am afraid. Nothing I can do until Ian comes online. Sorry about the problems, but there wont be any for the next race.

infact its a must, i just checked the site and its not working at all

therefore it impossible for me to send a lap in.

so we must extend the time for reasons of fairness to everyone

Yeah, the site is completely down, basically trying to fix the hotlap thing. And yes I would recommend a time extenstion. I am extremely sorry, but these problems wouldnt happen again.

so hotlapping to a1-ring isn't started yet?

tbh i prefered sending the lap into someone like korn

but lets see how this new system pans out,

and if it is not as good,

then for the start of the new season, i or whoever is willing, will revert back to running the old website and taking peoples laps by email

Fine, but its a tough job when this can be done automatically. If your patient, you will get the rewards. Please be patient. There has got to be problems early on, I just hoped everyone was able to be patient enough to get through them, but obviously not. If you want the new system removed, do tell me. Its the first race on the system.

well i dunno villej, dont know how long spains going on for!

i like this new system...but ofcourse it neded to be fixed.....new things always have a few early problems.

i just realised that when on the hotlap site i could not see any of my laps.

and i clicked 'All entries' and now i can see them all!

now im much happier!

im fastest so far at spain. but that was my first decent lap lol . loads more time to come yet

oh well there goes my maiden victory

is this the same hot lapping comp that started in canada around 3 to 4 months ago because it's all different to me. I only did canada and came 12th i think and france and i keep forgetting this comp.

also is the rules the same points knocked off for each driving aid e.t.c.

Ok, not sure whether Neil has verified the laps manually yet, so you wont see them in the main menu.

Please only upload only one lap per competition.

steve - that comes up on m,ine to when i submit a lap.

but at the bottom it says its valid. so its ok.

and if u go out, click on the circuit, then click on 'All entries'

you will see your lap.
