Post me a shot from TV and I'll do it!
By the way, with the feature in GPxCinfo for editing the alpha value, setting the transparency is easy now. Here's how to make a simple overlay in PSP 7
1 It's easiest to work from a screenshot from TV and set this to your monitor resolution ie 1024x768.
2 Cut out the logo from this and open your actual Logotype(If you're using logo's in .eps format I suggest opening witha a resolution of 400 - nice big sharp image!) and cut this out to match and resize to the actual TV shot size. For white transparent overlays it's best to change the colours before resizing so you have a white logo on a black background
3 Undo step 1 so you have the TV shot again and create a new layer on top of this. Cut and paste your logo on top and position exactly. Draw a box around this 256x256 and fill it black. Merge the images(Not the TV background and make a note of x,y positions of top left hand corner of your black/white image. You'll need this later.
4 Copy the B/W image and paste as new image. Should be 256x256 with your logo in the centre. Split colour channels to RGB and delete green and blue. Adjust contrast to give a pure b/w image(brightness 0,contrast 20 works). This is your mask channel.
5. Back to your original image - in masks select new and from image. Source window will let you choose which image - select the mask you've made.
Then in masks select save to alpha channel .
6. Finally, save this image as .tga. For a finishing touch, re-open the image and in selections select load from alpha channel then invert the selection and fill with black. Save again
Voila! Good luck!
