problem with megapatch 2003

Hi you all

i'm new here, and i wonder if someone can help me. I uninstalled gp4 and reinstalled it again. Then i patched it to 9.6. After that i installed the megapatch. After a few minutes racing, gp4 crashed back to the desktop. Gpx gave me the following message (GPXPLOAD.TXT):

i had that the first few times i installed it, but then its worked fine since, i have no idea why

it worked for me but the cars never looked right....

try to check the debug mode in the gpxpatch and set it to high details.

thanks Lord Kamder. I've tried a lap or 5 on Melbourne and it didn't crash back to the desktop. I hope this stays this way. The megapatch is the best i've ever seen.

As far as cars not looking right, change to 16bit textures in the graphics cfg file, that's what they were made for, not 32bit.

The cars in Megapatch are alright, and i love the menu backgrounds, but there are better cars from bojan, viper and many others which will look better.

whats the menu backgrounds like - same as before with 2003 f1 footage?

i thougt the solution of Lord Kamder helped, but it still crashes back to the desktop. This only happens with the megapatch. I have the 32 bit feature in the f1graphics.cfg set on 0. Has anyone some other solution?

yeah, its just video footage, but a big improvement visually

Why is everybody having problems with the megapatch?

i've tried to install the megapatch without the 9.6 patch, still the same problem. Could it be windows xp or a problem with the cars.wad?
