changing driver photos in menu

Hi , just wondering what i would need to be able to update the photos of the drivers in the driver menu, seen when choosing drivers. i understand you can download some updates for the season, but if i want to put my own photo in there , how do i do that and what would i need.

need version of carset creator and an unpatched gp4.exe.
alternatively use carset manager and you can have different menu pics per carset, that is assuming you can get the team art already in the .gpi format

I don't know if you know how to work with tga's?

Is there a converter to change .bmps .jpgs etc. to .tga .tex or .gpi format?????

u cant use that because then u loose the alpha chanel

yes.

photoshop for bmp-jpg-tga
tex ed for tga-tex
csc4 for gpi-tga

plus there bound to be lots of secret progams and stuff. behind the scenes converting etc
