Why is race performance weaker than test performance?

Have the mentioned problem on all tracks: top speed and rpm are lower when I change from test drive to the race. I use the same setup (saved and loaded again), still it seems as if I had lost some hp or go with more back wing in the races.

What could be the problem?

It´s just like the way things were in Formula 1 back in 2001 mate!!!!

on qualifying and on testing runs, teams used to run more powerfull engines, than on the race..... as on a GP distance, reliability is more important than pure power!!!!

but you can change that on the game by the perf. file anyway.... hehe...

No, Korn meant "practise any circuit" session, like a private testing run!!!! The bhp is the same of a qualifying run!!!!

That was back in GP3, in GP4 the default sets are 855 bhp for qualy and practise any circuit, and 850 bhp for other sessions!!!! Guys, help me out here, am I right or not????

race: 36647 or varying.
