As long as no one have answered my question, I´m creating a new thread!!!!

Does anyone know how to change FPS from the f1graphics.cfg file???? Wich line do I need to change????

I´m currentlly using 21.0, and I want it up on 26.0!!!!

Can anyone help me here pls????

you can't change fps in the f1graphics.cfg

you have to change it in-game, and start a new season (if you are currently racing one) for the chages to take place

you need to do it in the menu. make sure the first line of ure cfg is 1

so line one=0 means the cfg isnt used at all?
so where are the settings saved? in the sav?
if so, what if i have good settings (with line1=0) and want to save those settings to a cfg?

i dont know exactly but if you have use config = o then any changes in game will effect graphics options, and any manual editing of the config will be over written.


ie whatevr selections you have made in game graphics setup will override graphics config, seeing as the in game setup has very few options you wont be able to get as good results as editing the config.
the best way is to set optins in game untill its the best you can get for your system, then exit and change the use config to 1 and then edit, things like 16 bit etc can only be changed manually this way.

the first line. if its 1 then the settings in teh cfg file affect EVERYTHING but if its 0 then the menu (f1gstate.sav) overwrites sertain .cfg settings

I´m gonna make a back up of my currently f1graphics.cfg (I´ve got a pretty good one, that can´t be done by the option menu).... then change the FPS on the menu, and then come back... and change the first line back to 1 again!!!!
