Keyboard + pedals

My steering wheel potentiometer is working no more so I'm going to find a way to fix it since in my country I've being unable to find the spare part... In the mean time I want to keep myself playing GP4 but I don't like keyboard at all. In F1 2002 I managed to assign steering left and right to the keyboard and throttle and brakes to pedals, but in GP4 whenever I try to assign steering commands to keys in options -> controller->advance it fails to recognize the pedals as gas/brakes , so I have to configure all the commands to keyboard

Does anyone know how can I fix this or at least, does anybody know any tool to help me confiigure both pedals and keyboard as the same time?

i dont think u can re define the keyboard commands in gp4
