the 1st lod from michaels car whas good so i put that
log in gp 4 :problem solved

You correctly renamed the carshape files to prost, but don't change the textures, as the carshape will still look for hi_toyota.tex, no matterwhat it is renamed to.

err.....the bar's sidepod is a bit thin, isn't it? I mean the bit just above the air intake holes. Also the Toyota's red is a little off maybe?

Someting I noticed for BAR, Button has 16 on his car and 'J. Villeneuve' on the side, and Jacques car has Button number and name.

easy , i have inverted the two lods , car1 with car2 only lod0

Is it possible to extract the files from the EXE in the ZIP's so i can manual install the cars, i hate these wad installers also add files you dont need

yes , open winrar select the self extracting exe and extract it where you want

Since I´ve installed the cars I´ve got immense performance problems, possibly the lower lods are still too detailed.
The game does not run properly now, think I´m not going to use his cars. It´s a shame because these cars are the best I´ve seen so far

Well after trying to place the cars into my wad for about 5 hours and testing and testing over and over again, i give up !

* The ferrari car is working great

* The mclarn car is working great

* Sauber i don't like from viper so i didn't put it in

* Williams i don't like from viper so i didn't put it in

* His renault is superb but don't get it working good so i give up on that car and use the one of bojan i think

* His toyota is also beautiful but its total screwed up in game so i give up and use erwin his one

* The bar is perfect and is working great

So if someone could send me the files of renault and toyota working fine in the orginal gp4 slots i would be thankful. Toyota in prost slot and renault in benetton slot !

I would appreciate it alot after 5 hours trying. I got 3 cars working perfect !

i don't get it. Or you all do something collectivly wrong or I'm brilliant but I managed to get it all working in less than 5 minutes.
And I think Viper his Williams is worth putting in.

P.S: as I said before great job mate. Don't let all these post get you down your work rules

Got them ALL in Manual install and they work great, some T-Cam fiddling to do to get the right angles but i like them alot thanks heap Viper and friends, plus saved heaps of room in WAD size, 12 meg smaller no loss of Quality

I am using them all apart from Toyota, thats the worst one. The Renault isnt right, nor is the Mclaren, but I will stick with them.
