2003 Season Update: Help Needed!

I installed all the beautiful 2003 cars from Viper, Erwin Maliepaard, Guyon Waltmans etc.. After that I checked the game and reckongnized, all the cockpits look very ugly, especially the steering wheels are mostly at the wrong place, i.e. some are too high, some are place in the front part of the car etc..

Therefore, I replaced them by vipers cockpit set to fix the problem, but it didnt't help.

Any suggestions welcome!

Thx.

try going through the readmes of all the cars.

viper's ferrari, bar, renault, williams, has the the hlmet and steering wheel co-ordinates.Download gp4tweaker to adjust them
and use cameditor for tweaking as given in viper's realistic cockpit shape!!

All you need to do buddy is to download GP4 Tweaker and enable the co-ordinates tweak, which allows you to reposition the steering wheel, hands and helmet... modify the co-ordinates according to your needs... it might take a bit of playing arond and going in and out of the game a few times...

You might save some time by looking at the readme file included with the installation package as some car makers do provide the correct co-ordinates in the readme file included with the installation package...

this is not a bug!!!

gp4 tweaker is must . In vipers zip file see there will be a file called coordinates.txt, open it and use gp4 tweaker to assing the values and thats it.

Thx. GP4Tweaker was the solution.

Only one problem resists: When I update the Wilson-Minardi to Kiesa a jerky bug occurs:

From a distance the helmet has the Wilson-Livery but if the camera goes closer it changes to the Kiesa design??!!! I'm using the Tarticchio-Minardi.

Any ideas?

the problem with the helmet changing might be that the correct helmet has not been downsampled. WHen you put Kiesa's helmet in, press the 'downsample texture' button then click yes. that should solve it.

It's the "AdHoc Generic GP4 v 2.0" wheel.

And I really forgot downsampling ... Thx.
