gp4 will almost rock on your pc .

You will have to work hard to get best possible graphics and fps for the game which i had to do for almost 2 or 3 weeks.

Now i am really happy with gp4 with 256 mb ram.

For GP4, you'd be better off with a GF4 Ti and more CPU power. Even if not for GP4, the P4 2Ghz would hold back you Gfx card a bit I think.

GP 4 was at least averagely programmed....
Any PC today with decent card would kick ass, but..... DAMN Geoff!

AMD Athlon Xp1800 XP home GeForce MX/MX400 384mb RAM

Runs perfect on 800 res, everything on bar mirrors, heat haze (pointless anyways)

Hers My Spec,

Pentium 4 2.4Ghz
Msi Intel 845E Max2 Mobo
512 ddr 2300
Creative Geforce 4 Ti4600, Latest Drivers
Creative Audigy 2 Platinum Ex
20 Gig Ibm Deskstar
80 Gig Ibm Deskstar
Msi Cd-Rw 48/16/48
Creative Dvd Rom
Aoc 17in TFT Monitor

Alls i can say is GP4 is Wicked on My system,no slow downs or anything,Im using 2003 Megapatch, and all cars are 2003 High Display Models
:) :) If you have a System with Onboard sound and Graphics,Thats probably where part of your problem is.
has before i got my Creative Audigy 2, I was runnin onboard sound,Realtek Audio 5.1, which was Ok, but not Brilliant :) :O
Also ive always steered away form onboard Graphics, Because if your runnin a Proccesor Under 1.5 Ghz your goin to Struggle.
Thats my Personnel opinion by the way,
Make sure all your Drivers are up to Date, Ie:-Graphics,Sound,Mobo,Os Updates, and not forgettin the game patch :) :) :)
Hope this helps Some :)
