might as well stick this here:

i want to go from the 'last minute changes' screen to the 'accelerated time'.
testing physics, and running full lenght no cars selected races, and i don't like having to load all the wads everytime.

reserve one key (* or / on the numpad) and write some code to catch this key press. then jump to 511c2b (entry point for the routine of race starting)

And you blow everything like race table results, race time, track related changes (skid marks, weather, etc), car conditions (damage, tyre wear, etc)...?

If you do that, then what I was said about "unpredictable results" would be happen. E.g. When you "restart" at the half of race, then this is similar to start race with half way race states and conditions.

instead of having one accel key (on keyboards) can you make 3 - 1 at 100%, 1 at 50% and 1 at 25%.
