GP4 SOUND UPDATE v1.2 (updated TSC fix)

What files should I use to have the previous version external sounds, and the new internal?





AMD64 3400+ (running at 2,66ghz atm )DDR400 1gb(running at 433) Asus K8N-E Deluxe mobo, 6800ultra, Tagan tg-480w, Audigy 2Zs, Logitech Z-5500 speakers
Using X-aser Lanfire case with 5 fans inside cathodelights etc included aswell :P

You mean you want the old TSC sounds?

They are the same internal as they were before.

What I want is to have the v1.1 TV style cameras (like we watch f1 from TV) sounds

They were the originals? I remember that after installing the sound update I could hear the sound more..."wild" Maybe this is becoz only the sound.txt was changed?

Have you tried the Trackside Camera fix? Try that, if you still don't like, contact again and I'll send you the original files

Damn markko, how much better can these sounds get?! Just d/l the fix(thanks!),did five laps, of monza then played back...just awesome! I don't think it's possible but is there a way of hearing the backfires etc(as you do in cockpit mode) in T-cam view?

At the moment, thats the only bug were getting, no gearshift noises in T-Cam view. Only hope for that is if Lo2K releases his sound position editor

Hi, I just installed the GP4SoundUpdate v1.2 and
it seems the sound outside of the car is too small?
The cockpit and T-cam sound is good, but the "chase" sound is too small.
I've downloaded the fix but it still sounds too small.

Yeah, I'ts the same with me. I have an AUdigy.

Maybe I have to adjust something????

Hmmmmmm, I'll bear that in mind, probably just a simple volume problem.

to the sound editors:
for the trackside cameras, i changed the files in the tsc slot in the 1.2 sound file (with fix), with sounds from the GP4-F1CExternal.zip file and i think the trackside cameras sound a lot better and higher pitched.

So? How to adjust the volume?
