Firstly, we must apologise for the long delay in our release. This is down to a number of reasons:
- Our webspace has been down for over a week.
- Next, the .tk forwarding was down.
- I havent been here to test.
- Some of the new features have took longer to make then first thought.
- Some of the new features have took longer to tune then first thought.

But, after the long delay we finally get to release v1.2.

This is our new version of the extremely popular sound update packages.

This new version includes an installer, for easy installation!

This version also includes a TC and NON TC versions by popular demand!
These versions must be seperate due to the way Grand Prix 4 works.

internal is great! External sounds kind of weird... i d'loaded the TC version. External (drive by) sounds as it is too "low" ?

Did I do something wrong? Last Version sounded much better and "hihg pitched" !

Hi,I D/L the TC version as well and the installer quits at 71% and says that it came across an invalid file.......was using the original snds so i havent a clue what is causing this.Any help would be appreciated

Have to agree with badi 'External (drive by) sounds as it is too "low" ?'. What parameter can we adjust to increase that particular volume setting?
Would like to be able to hear the car sooner as it it coming towards you in external view. Other than that all the other sounds are superb. I especially like the sound the other cars make when u are sitting in the garage and they drive by in the pit and when they are doing a hot lap etc!

Hey guys,
Is tracktion control allowed in real 2003 F1 Season?
Which years was it allowed/forbidden ?

I just need to know this so that i can install the correct version in the correct season

eh god man! do u follow formula one or the formula hipo series?

TC has been Allowed since 2001 i think

it was supposed to be banned just before silverstone but it was rejected and they can use it still

Trackside Cameras (External Drive By's) are a bit more of a beta test for us, we've got the other cars sounding fine, but selected cars proving quite difficult, as any slight change in engine noise = disaster! :S But we will look into it! Probably just needs the volume rising slightly!

Hmmmmmmm, have you tried extracting to a different folder to see if they will extract? If not, the .exe file may be badly downloaded, try re-downloading.

Thanks for your response re ext. sound Ian

The ext. sound was really great in Vers. 1.1. Although I thought it should be a little higher pitched while cars are accel. from the distance.

But now the sound is really nothing like an high powered F1. I dont want to slam your great work. Not at all!!! But it would be great if you could improve on the one car ext. sound since this is quite vital for the hotlapping experience!

Yeh, it was the original until v1.2, I have noticed the same, the selected car is too low. I have already made a rough bug list for Ian took look over. We will look into improving this for v1.3. Like Ian said, the TSC were really BETA's for this release. We will tweak roughly every sound for v1.3.

are we meant to install the renault, ferrari or bmw engine sounds after we install the 1.2 patch? or does the 1.2 patch already install one of those 3 sounds?
