i dont know anything about the heat haze but ive been playing with the clouds, heres what ive found.
there are a group of greyscale bmps smap_(a-f)(0-4) with a corrosponding jam wpatt_(a-f)(0-4).
the jam seems to act like an alpha channel to the corrosponding image.
ive tried increasing the size of all .bmp's from 512x512 to 1024x1024 but gp4 crashed. so we could be stuck with low res cloud pictures, unless you have to increase the resolution of the jam as well, but they are currently 256x256 which didnt equal the original bmp size, so i dont think so.
im not sure wheathe the gp4 groups the images by imagea0,b0,c0,d0,e0,f0 or by image a0,a1,a2,a3,a4. its hard to work out. ive tried altering images but cant determin the actual effects, ive tried all black and all whit images but still get clouds of some description.
im assuming gp4 uses the group(whichever way they are grouped) for different weathe conditions ie group a or 1 for sunny and group 4 or f for really wet, but i could be totally wrong.
