how to set fps outside the game?

I realy need to set the fps, but if I do it in the game then cars have mad colors

Orelse try to set fps in game and then since the cars textures mess up, go back to windows, open ur F1graphics.cfg and set it to 0 again.

make the first line 1 in gfx.cfg

the fps is saved in the gamestate.sav not the graphics config. hence you can have a custom graphic config amd change your fps, ie set first line in config to 1,
1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
then no matter what you alter in gp4 your graphic config is uaffected.
just change fps in game, which along with replay lengthe dont effect graphics config.
