Tweaker and GPX prob

I have searched the forums and can't resolve this, so please help.

I have installed GPX 3.5 and it runs ok on own.

GP4 tweaker 1.0.4.2 also runs ok alone.

If try to run both and have both open, GPX wont work or start game.

Error says...

"Unknown or unsupported GPX version
Make sure the GPX directory shown below is your GPX directory

C:\program files\Infogames\Grand Prix 4"

The version of GPX does not show at the top of the box either if tweaker is opened first either.

I have windows 98 se.

I have read that their is no conflict, so please advise.

Close GP4 Tweaker when running GPxPatch.

then how will tweaker work for new qualifying rules?

To get everything works, you don't have to GP4 Tweaker window opened all the time. Just make few changes, press "apply" button the exit. Run GP4 or GPxPatch after that.

There two version of qual rules, the official with old "poor" tweak and new one comes with beta version. For beta version, read the document included in the zip file about how to install the tweak module patch.

i tried this alot

i cant get more laps in quick race if i am not playing through tweaker.
i've tried apply alot as well.

gpx patch also has an option to set quick race length which is probably overriding whatever you set in tweaker, adjust the valu for quickrace lengthe in gpxpatch.

Install GP4 Tweaker (v1.040 and newer) to any folder you choose. Installing more than once is not advisable. To install the beta, read installation guide in readme document following the beta package.
