yes, but not the physics file, i had to reinstall my game coz my lap didnt work on their comps.

where i can get the prefomance file...i can,t see any downlaod sec in K-F site

Hakkinen.... here are the things that you should have:

855bhp
605kg at least
no editting of phisics (that means no more than 100% grip)

you can have that with the original GP4.... or with some GPxPatch installed, with the pshisics unchecked!!!!

The carsetup is very important by the way.... and don´t be scared for being much slower than the top guys.... that happens on the first time... watch some guys laps (Silverstone is not so good to watch, get some Montreal hotlaps for example), and compare it to your own performance, then you will find out where you loose or gain time!!!!

and I suggest you to download on this site, Hofxlap checker.... then you can make a hotlap, save it, load it with the Hofxlap, and check if you are on 605kg, 855bhp.... etc.... it´s good to have it, just to make sure!!!!

just uninstall game,

then reinstall, install patch 9.6, then install gppatch most recent one then your up and away

download a hotlap and try it on your gp4. if it was driven with different physics, bhp, kg or whatever, you wont be able to se the lap cause the car crashes into a wall sooner or later. that is because only steering-input is stored in the hotlap, no physics etc...

if it does work in your gp4, you will be able to see the hotlap and where the time is made up. personal suggestion: dont let these hotlaps bother you. they are driven with setups that are only good for one lap because of the plank wear. it's a different sport.

and i don,t know how to set it for one lap.....

hey Hakkinen.... it´s okay if you don´t know how to setup the car!!!!
go to F1timer web site, download a hotlap.... then go to Hofxlap checker (get in on this website), and save it´s setup.... almost everyone does that!!!!

i only just figured that out like two days ago :S

on a slightly different note, i tried gian's hotlap and it didnt work on mine!

well gians silverstone lap was legal - it worked on my comp. so i think your setup fongu may be wrong

none of the laps work on my game.
bodeus made it to stowe, gian hit the wall before the lap started and everone else crashed in between

i just cant be bothered reinstalling my game again....... what i really want is two installed..... one for hotlapping and one for 2003 updates and stuff

i uninstalled Gp4 then installed it, and then copied it, pasted it to a new folder (with 9.6 patch and gpxpatch already done mind u) and now i have 2 gp4's :D
