Now that the hard part os over, do i need any particular patches or in game Gp4 settings to get the ultimate driving experience. Things such as Steering Help and Steering Sensitivity and FFB levels.

Where did you get it? I've been trying to find a store that actually sells it. I went to best buy, circuit city, compusa, toys R Us and walmart and nobody had it.

I traded mine for a Thrustmaster F1 ForceFeedback Racing Wheel

They are both good wheels but personally I now prefer my TM

It feels more solid and has steel shaft and ball bearings plus the

Forcefeedback has a different feel to it which I like.

I didnt like the newer Momo and was real disappointed they dont

make the original Leather clad momo anymore.... that was awesome.

Logi do make excellent wheels and the original Logitech ff wheel I owned (Red Rubber One) was a great wheel that served me well for over 3 yrs.

FOr those thinking of a new wheel then they should at least give the

new TM F1 FF racing wheel a try... it is a replica of the 2002 championship

wheel that MS used.

You should try with steering help off or very low and sensitivity about 15%

as for FF strength the Logi works best at 100% but my TM is way too strong anything over 70% in GP4. Really just experiment though.

Good Luck and happy driving !

cheers
vik

In the windows control panel go to game devices and disable (untick) the box that says "one axis for both pedals" (something like this, I have the German version). Now you should be able to choose IRZ axis for your MOMO in games.

in GP4 (options -> controls -> advanced)

- under "user set" choose "not used" to configure new device

- controller type "wheel"

- steering device "Controller A (X)"
- steering mode "analog"

- acceleration device "Controller A (Z)"
- acceleration mode "analog"
- brake device "Controller A (IRZ)"
- brake mode "analog"

*******

If you choose the device for acceleration and braking a window pops up where you have to tick the axis you want to choos (Z = gas, IRZ for brakes). You can also see this way if the device does respond.

Set the values for sensitivity zones, steering help, reduction witth speed, etc. the way it suits your driving style best.

In any case set steering help to 0% and max lock to 20°, otherwise you won't get through Monaco Loews hairpin.
