gp4 patch v9.6

right i have tried the search button with no luck

uninstalled gp4 & reinstalled it,
tried putting in patch v9.6 but keeps coming up saying gp4 is already updated
run the game check credits still version 1.00

tried uninstalling gp4 & patch number of times with no luck for some weird reason i cant get the patch back in!!
always worked with no problems in the past!!

anyone know what i am doing wrong?

Start -> RUN -> REGEDIT
Search for "Infogrames" -> Delete Key

Ne1 else wana help?

do that and a load of editors will go crazy, delete teh patch key, not the infogrames one (and also that will delte all other infogrames games keys)
