how to get red off the extra speed i get when i get at the back of any car
slip streams gives 3 or 4 km\h in real life no more
but in gp4 even if u r far u can get about 20 km\h
any ideas

Apply the patch. Slipstreaming is very toned down (for the human player at least) and I can garantee you that you will not get 20kph.

well, slip streaming in real life normally give you an extra speed of er.....5-10kmh i think

What you definately get is an engine that revs higher. If I remember right, RTL co-commentator and ex F1 driver Christian Danner once said something about 500 rpms. How much this is in terms of speed depends on your setup and ´the track conditions.

if u look at hockenhiem and monza (old hocken track) the slipstreaming action would give you a lot more speed, upto 10mph or more

but places like hungary etc. u would get around 2-3mph more ish.

and playing Monza in GP4 is very silly
because if he is behind he will pass u
and if u r behind him u will pass him
no doubt

since playing Gp4 i havn,t injoyed a real chase
like spending...lets say...10 laps trying to pass the car in front
but no...
the moment u r behind the car in front
there is no doubt u r gonna pass

the speed advantage is totally setup dependant and can varry from 0 to up to 30 km/h or more.
