CC-Line and CC-Cars?

I read some threads where the words "CC-Line" and "CC-Cars" occur. Besides threads mentioning these words, I didn't found any explanation of them. Would be somebody able to explain them in basic?

The cc-line is the best line that the Computer Controlled-Cars are following on a track.

When it's displayed, is it possible to disable it, please ?
