Textures for the 1996 mod do not load

I have a problem with car textures not loading in the 1996 mod - the cars are white and track textures are grainy

The same problem is with 1991 mod, but there is no problem with 1994 mod version 4.2

What worked for me, is modifying f1graphics.cfg

First I modified the 1st line: 0 to 1, f1graphics controls all settings.
I modified the line 25:
1 ; Increase car texture quality (1 on, 0 off)

Many users reported that they modified the line 25 other way around, from 1 to 0.
