Hi All,

After all these years i've just started exploring with GP4Builder and playing around with tracks.

I added some objects to a specific track but have run into an issue.

Objects that i've imported into the track appear, however at certain points whilst driving around the track, they all disappear, every object that i've imported.

Can someone kindly explain as to the reason for this ?

Thank you.

Slasher.

Thanks for the reply Kyle.

What specifically in the material settings am i looking at.

I did a little research after your reply, then changed everything to two sided, but it hasn't made a difference.

Thanks.

Each object on the track has a viewing distance, over whcih it is ont displayed. Check the attributse of the objets you have added.

One day, PrBlanco taught me three important things about objects disapearing :

1) Depending of the distance of the objects you must modify the distance value of each one in the "object's attributes" windows from 0 to [...]

2) If an object is far from the layout you've got to name it F_XXXX (F for far away) or N_XXXX if it's Near the layout.

3) For trees and above all crowds, to be sure they will not disapear in the game you've got add _FULL at the end of the name.

I think I don't tell you mistakes.

All good and valuable advice, but try this:

Click on the object.
Camera will probably be set to 20 (but you probably don't have 20 cameras).
Change it to 0 (which I think means 'allow this object to be shown in ALL camera views) and it should work.

I think _FULL is used to show crowds in all sessions. Crowds without _FULL are only shown in quali and race.

My Grand Prix 4 Files
