Hello!

Sorry to read that your video card crashed ... But honestly, I don't think that's because of the HD textures from the Alpine. Perhaps your video card crashed because of earlier causes and that the phenomenon has been accentuated recently.
For each recent car, I have released 2048x2048 textures, which are less consumming in terms of PO for GP4.

I am using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 TI with actual games, 3D renders, VFX on After Effects and 4K textures for GP4. Not the best but still alive!
The video card adapted to your Pc specs depends of your motherboard, power unit, CPU and I would say, your needs in terms of productivity, games etc...

A search on google or motherboard manufacturer website would give you informations for the compatibles graphic cards.

For Nvidia Geforce GC, I would recommand Nvidia, MSI or Zotac brands and third-party and RTX xxxx TI version . For old or middle PC (from 2015 -2016), 1070 TI is great.
As I am not a AMD user, I can't give you advices.

I managed to solve it, it was the track graphics that were at the maximum, I put it in the middle, they were perfect, thanks and congratulations for your incredible work, looking forward to Haas!
