fresh start gp4

I have put a new gp 4 installation on my windows 10 but I run into the following problems;

i installed gp 4 without the patch 1.02

gp4 does not start when I press the gp 4 icon on my desktop.


when i install the patch and run gp4 some cars are completely white and some parts of other cars are white? how is this possible with a completely new installation?

If you search through, you`ll find some more complete solutions.

Essentially you need to delete the reg keys from your old installation (anything with infogrames in it), reboot and re-install.

i did but still no success

Maybe something with the order you run things... not sure, but this is the order I run through things when I have come across white cars (no hi-textures loading) in the past:

Install game, but do not run.

Install gpx_patch, (optional: set verbosity to high and cpu to 1).

Now first run, set up how you like & save settings on exit.

Install the patch, then the decrypted exe.

Run once and exit.

Then go through and add Zaz etc.

If there are still issues, edit manually in the graphics config file.

Usually this does it for me...

Now first run, set up how you like & save settings on exit...not possible see below, as far as i know It's not possible to run gpx patch without an encrypted version of gp4 v.100?

Dear Pont, try this:

Extract the 7z file respecting the folder path exactly like this:

Drive unit:\Program Files (x86)\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4

It is modified for newer Windows versions from GP4DB.com

Then run the 9.6 patch

And then replace the exe with 1.02 no cd

My Grand Prix 4 Files
I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

the above mentioned cfg file has been blocked by my virus scanner because it is dangerous (according my scanner)

disable the antivirus, install and be happy, then activate the antivirus again. And so many do or all.

i did and this config file is wonderful, beautiful graphics now but there is something strange with the tyres. They disappear sometimes when driving in cock pit view?

I have a problem with gpi browser using this modified newer windows version from GP4?
I replaced and saved a drivers picture in GPI Browser (tga file) but when i start up gp4 i don't see the new picture? I still see the old picture? What could be the problem?
