It’s only a game, I know…
But, fark me! Qual in 2nd originally, now down to friggin last? Total BS.
Can’t the grid be firmed with the Grid Creator utility so justice is served??!!

Angry, but not angr (it’s just a game). But what likely would have been race points, now likely to be no chance of points…..

I can't say I'm happy with the rerun but so be it. Nice to see Paulo in a good position for the race and kudos to Nico for his pole even though he's not running for me any more.

GPGSL ROUND 04 SOUTH AFRICA GP

Welcome back to race day here at Kyalami in the South African GP.

Beggani starts alongside Keranen in the first row

And they're off, amazing start by O'Neill, who jumps from 3rd to 2nd

He tries to take the lead now in the first turn

But Beggani is able to hold it

Brickles overtakes Silva

Keranen with an awful start, dropping to 7th place

O'Neill is putting some pressure on Beggani

Ancevski in the last race of the CoS

Silva overtook Brickles to regain his 3rd place

Championship leader Gustavo sits in 10th after the first lap

While his teammate and second in the championship, Buitenhuis, is outside the points for now

Sheppard trying to overtake Cronin

O'Neill takes the lead

Caranti with a not so good 19th place

Sheppard was successful in his maneuver

Beggani is not letting O'Neill open a gap

And he retakes the lead for himself

Here is how the top 10 changed so far

Karda overtakes his teammate Hinz

Sheppard takes another victim

O'Neill and Beggani are once again swapping places

De Los Rios in 11th after overtaking Ancevski

De Bruyker with a 15th place after overtaking Sakata

Sheppard gains another place, this time from Stoddart

Karda also overtakes Sakata

Beggani and O'Neill side by side

And the French takes the lead once again

Gustavo overtakes Majumdar after overtaking Szucs off camera

Buintehuis is inside the points now, after overtaking Ancevski

And Karda overtakes Sakata

Not the race Mist fans were hoping for, 21st and 22nd so far

O'Nerill overtakes Beggani

And Anceski retakes his position back from Karda

Beggani overtakes O'Neill in the following lap

Elleker goes 4th after overtaking Brickles

And De Los Rios drop to 12th after being overtake by Buitenhuis

Hinz overtakes Sakata

Cronin dropped to last place unseen by the cameras

O'Neill once again in the lead

And Brickles retakes his 4th place

Caranti goes wide

And returns in last

One more dance

Beggani takes the lead

Elleker overtakes Brickles one more time also

Gromov with a good overtake on De Bruyker

This time O'Neill wasn't close enough to overtake Beggani

Keranen overtakes Brickles to 5th place

Anceveski has a transmission problem

End of race for him

A battle between old teammates, as Buitenhuis makes a move on Szucs

And he is able to take 11th place

Oh no!! O'Neill is pulling over

Another transmission problem, what a shame, it was a great race

Brickles overtakes Keranen for 4th

While a little behind, Gustavo overtakes Pedersen and takes 6th place

Brickles is holding up a few cars behind him

Keranen is the first one to try an overtake

Side by side

The same goes for Pedersen and Gustavo

Both Keranen and Pedersen are successful

Sheppard overtakes one more, an sits now in 14th

Hinz is the first one to stop

Race leader Beggani goes in for his stop

Can Silva push harder in those few laps and takes the lead for himself? We will have to wait and see it

Majumdar overtakes Gustavo

Beggani returns in 14th

Buitenhuis is right behind Gustavo now, 1st and 2nd of the championship so far

Silva is finnaly in

And Beggani remains in the lead

Here are the standings after the round of pit stops

De Bruyker overtakes Gromov and takes 11th place

Karda overtakes Sheppard, the Frenchman did not return in the same pace as before the pit stops

Keranen overtakes Pedersen

De Bruyker takes the 10th place

Gromov also overtakes De Los Rios

Majumdar overtakes Pedersen and takes 6th place

Bruyker overtakes Buitenhuis

Yellow flag because of Keranen

He went too wide while in 5th

And returns in last

De Bruyker takes another victim, this time overtaking Gustavo for the 7th place

While Gromov overtakes Buitenhuis, not a good day for the MMM's

With two laps to go, Bruyker now tries a move on Pedersen

And he gets it done, 6th place for him, amazing pace after the pit stops

Karda and Szucs fighting for the last point

And karda is the winner

Szucs must not be happy after that

Nico Beggani wins the South African GP

Final Results

Best Laps

Gutting for Sean to retire with such a fast car - we'll need to investigate that back at the factory so it doesn't happen again.

19th in the race. Not surprised at all.
Horrible weekend for the Mist team.

I'm not satisfied with being overtaken so many times, but for someone who was without boost, P8 isn't that bad.

Well that was disappointing, especially Aidan throwing away important points this close to the end.

P4 - Delighted with that one! Mostly thanks to a great start and good pace. Good race from my teammate as well to recover to 6th.

Points at least, shame that Szucz was overtaken at the end. With the qualifying rerun hurting us big time, I consider the boost wasted

Starting from 20th place and finishing 6th, gaining 14 places.
Well all by all a great race... thx to the mechanics.
Also a great job from my teammate, well done James.
Well 4th and 6th aint that bad, according the problems with quali.
Nice points for the Wrexham team.
Up to next round.

Greetings from Belgium,

Marcus

I knew it was going to be difficult for me around here. Gutted for my teammate who looked so fast!
