im on my 7th different program today

All of them say "free trials" whihc is bullshit cos when i use t, it allows me to see the files but not to recover them. that isnt a trial, thats limited use. Wankers

im just waiting for mr virus to come along over here, i havent made any backups at all, and ive got loads of important stuff on my drive.

No anti virus software installed, i run kazaa, get loads off things off the net

i think im kinda asking for it, oh well :|

This is the first time this has happened and it happened cos 98 crashed during instalation. How do i know this? Becasue everything before and after that point ran fine

I'm also sorry to heard this, Ellis.

Hope the HD can be recovered back, especially in your vital data. You can try some recovery tool. My favorite one is Tiramisu. Be sure to back up the original HD first before trying to attempt recovering.
