How to edit a car shape inside cars.wad

After some months of absence playing GP4, today I come back in using it.
In past years I've created my own special cars.wad containing my personal cars.
I discovered that a McLaren car of this cars.wad is not correctly displayed when I play GP4, in the back of the car are missing a small portion of it.
I want to correct this error, but I forgot how to extract a car from cars.wad, edit it, then put again in the cars.wad.

I was able to extract files fron the cars.wad, but I'm not able to replace the new ones inside the cars.wad

You can import file in Wad Controller with Drag & Drop, or you can extract wad file and recreate a new wad.
