Patch 9.6 Problems

Ive installed a second Gp4 on my pc but i wont to install the the patch but it comes up GP4 already updated


How can i get round this problem?

I got exactly the same problem. Use a program called Iscab to open up the .hdr file in the files that came with the patch. Then you can extract all of the files that would be installed by the installer, and copy then manually to the correct directories.

Search for iscab in google or something. It's an Install Shield Script viewer type thingy.

So you already had GP4 on your PC and then you tried another installation, so you have two on them?
Why bother, just copy your GP4 folder somewhere else, and you have them two, both functional.

You could also copy "the whole Grand Prix 4" to another directory so you would also have a second GP4 on your HDD and the Patch would also be installed at this "second GP4".

infogrames

delete the key (folder) talking about gp4 patch.

in the gp4 key (folder) it has a thing about the version, double click it and change it so the decimal is 1.00

Except Dumass, you lot need to read the thing properly. He wants to install the patch, not another version!

no czo then the patch says gp4 isnt installed. and lo2ks editors want that key there, so does csc4 (a little, its not fussy)
