Don't know if anyone else came across the red light glow in the cockpit during wet races. Seems to be from the rain light

Heya, I just noticed Hakkinen is displayed having Goodyear tyres (I imagine it's the same for Coulthard), though the Mclaren used Bridgestone tyres that year

Faie enough. It's a bit like the T&C text for me ;)

Something else I'd like to see personally are the really accurate offset T-cam views, kinda like this. IIRC the straight on T-cam stuff got phased out at the end of 1997.

Whenever I play a Codies F1 game, I always use the offset T-cam. It's a more realistic view looking back as well (not that we can look back in GP4 (at least I don't)

About that, I kinda have an idea for those who want one AND can have the other. Keep the normal default onboard T-cam, and make one of the other camera angles the offset T-cam. iirc the 2021 F1 mod did this exact thing (don't quote me on that tho). Why can't we implement it in other late 90s-2000s mods?

Congrats to the release of the Mod Matteo! It was a very good mod you created and it was a pleasure to Beta-Test and help you :-)

We will for sure miss you here but I know how busy real life is sometimes and while you wrote: "....beautiful and important things..." I interpret this as some positive change in your life that lead you through the point not have that much time for GP4 anymore.

Take care :-)
a big thanks for the fixed update, Matteo
Thank you very much Matteo!

Hello to all guys! Long time no see...

I inform you that the Pre Season mode for 1998 Mod is now available for download, you can find it in the MediaFire folder of the usual link at 1st post!
It's an optional mode, to use it just download and install the file "F1 1998_PreSeason.cmu", it doesn't require the clean install of the mod.

Hope to see you soon, enjoy to all! :-)

Matte
