Imposing tires at the start of the race

Hi there,
I play in spectator mode by modifying the performance files of each driver.
I indicate as probability of race on the rain at 65%.
Is there a way to make some riders go on wet tires and others on dry track tyres?
Thank you for your answers and have a nice day.
(Sorry for the phhauts, but I use google translate)

I don't believe it's possible to force that unfortunately.

Its possible to edit the tire compounds of each individual driver.

You just need a tool like Cheat Engine and you are able to edit the tire compound for each driver accordingly to your own wishes.
What are all the compounds in 2001 GP4 btw?
I know theres Dry, Inter, Wet and Monsoon. Is there anything else too?

Hards and Softs as far as I can remember.
This is interesting, I've never heard anything about how can one set either compound using Cheat Engine... Any quick tutorial?

Basically how the game works is that the game looks for the grid spot the driver starts the race in and assigns them to the addresses from gridcar 1-22.

With some months of just playing around with different numbers in the game I found out that for gridcar 1 the address 0066FF6E is the one which is the one for what tire compound is fitted.
I didnt find the other 21 values of the gridcars yet but I think it can be done quickly.

The values (I think) range from 0 (Dry) to 1024 (Monsoon) in 256 steps. So if you change the 0 to the 1024 you will have the car on monsoon tires.

You can try out yourself if you like and feel free to ask questions :)

It's a byte at 0x66FF6F, not a word at 0x66FF6E. And the values for all cars are at 0x66FF6F + 0x41c * car index. The car's id is at 0x66FF6C + 0x41c * car index.

Ah thanks for the help finding all the other 21 cars :) Also using 0x66FF6F makes it easier by having the numbers from 0-4 to set the tire compound
