Force pit stops in short races

Hi all, I've just come back to GP4 after about 10 years and it's amazing to see this community still producing amazing content. I spent most of yesterday remembering how to install cars etc.

One thing I can't remember, if I want to run say 20% races, what's the best way to force the AI to make at least one pit stop each race (assuming it's possible)? Sorry if the answer is elsewhere on here I've struggled to find it.

I use the tracks magic data to set pit strategies for the AI.

It's in the section towards the bottom. I use 50% races allowing for 0-2 stops for, and this is an example for a 29 lap race:

Quote

Group 1 Pitstop=50
Group 1 stop 1=13
Group 1 Pit window 1=4
Group 2 Pitstop=20
Group 2 stop 1=9
Group 2 Pit window 1=2
Group 2 stop 2=19
Group 2 Pit window 2=2
Group 3 Pitstop=30
Group 3 stop 1=30
Group 3 Pit window 1=1
Group 3 stop 2=0
Group 3 Pit window 2=0
Group 3 stop 3=0
Group 3 Pit window 3=0

Group 1 Pitstop=50 (% of cars to use this pit strategy)
Group 1 stop 1=13 (lap to stop on)
Group 1 Pit window 1=4 (pit window to give +/- laps to when they stop)

50% cars will 1 stop between laps 11-15.

Group 2 Pitstop=20
Group 2 stop 1=9
Group 2 Pit window 1=2
Group 2 stop 2=19
Group 2 Pit window 2=2

20% cars will 2 stop between lap 9-10, then lap 19-20

Group 3 Pitstop=30
Group 3 stop 1=30
Group 3 Pit window 1=1
Group 3 stop 2=0
Group 3 Pit window 2=0
Group 3 stop 3=0
Group 3 Pit window 3=0

30% cars 0 stop as its a 29 lap race so they get to the end with 1 lap of fuel left. If you want to make sure they all stop, then use group 3 as a 3 stopper (which is how it was intended - but I quite like giving them the opportunity for a 0 stop).
