Normally in the past I would have swooped on to that helmet paint job, but free time has been incredibly short lately.
Surely there is a willing painter somewhere amongst us that can quickly put something together for Marcus….. please??

I love the Red Bull Ring with a passion, looking forward to a good showing there.

No it was not, however I do believe you did get an unreserved public apology which in my opinion was well deserved. Maybe sleeping dogs should be left to lie, hatchets buried or something like that. There's really no need for us to be reminded of what was an unfortunate and poorly handled incident. Perhaps we could all move on and get on with the series.

You're 100% correct. Sadly, F1 Manager keeps me busy, preventing me from offering.

The way I see it I never got as much as a personal apology. Instead part of the blame was shifted on me by saying "things got heated on all sides", when in fact it had been a one sided slandering at that point. Which was deemed a behaviour not warranting any kind of penalty whatsoever btw.

Anyway, I'll leave it be for now, be back in ~2 weeks for the next mandatory activity post.

I want to comment on this as I wrote that "official" post back then.

The intention never was to shift blame towards you and if it came across like that I'm sorry for my bad choice of words. You were actually the least involved in the discussion. When saying "heated on all sides" I tried to refer to the discussion going on in the thread which did have sort of two sides and it was just handled poorly.

The decision not to penalize anyone was made as we felt that this would have not improved anything.

I do feel a bit bad that I can't do more to help. But unfortunately having a Mac renders my RD'ing duties impossible. I have to say though, I have noticed a distinct change in the community over the past few seasons. Seems a lot less friendly and helpful and more critical and expectant if that's the right word.
