İt is why Best Line is important.

hey guys.

Best Line is important for equalize your lap time with ai drivers lap time who has same skill driver and car with you.

ie Senna has 880 bhp car and 16800 grip, and Schumacher have same too.

i want to calibrate my lap time with ai. than i am driving qualify with take Senna. track is İndy Oval.

İ must drive on Best Line, because all ai cars as Schumacher will drive on it. if i drive inside side of track, i will be faster around half second from ai Schumacher at İndy Oval. and after this if i try calibrate to it with editing MD3 ai grip factor, it seems we are equal now, but not. because at race, ai cars begin to use inside side of track too. than Schumacher will be faster than us, with same car and grip.

than we need drive on Best Line at qualify. Unfortunately, a lot of track hasnt got it and locked for add.

The CC-line isn't locked, it's part of the .dat file and can be edited using GP4 Builder.

And you're right, it's a vital part of the playing experience.

Hey TomMK, it is nice to see you.

The CC-line isn't locked, but visual CC-line, aka Bestline is locked. when we convert cc line with "add from dat" option to bestline, we cant save it because gp4 file is locked.

only solution i find, follow ai car at qualification. : (

Oh I see, yes the visual line is actually in the graphics file (.wad). If the author has locked that then you cannot update it.

yes, Tom. this problem cant be solved.

now, i am going asking other question about accleration in which threat already exist. i am curious what is your opinion about that too.
