Mexico 2016 RSCT PO problem

I've got a question about this awesome track.

I don't have the best laptop, and it's several years old now. But the Mexico 2016 track is very PO heavy.
In original state, I could not play it properly as the PO went over 300 at certain parts. This has
not been an issue with the other RSCT tracks.

I opened up the .wad file and resized alot of textures. To be specific, all textures that were above 1mb.
The .wad became 100mb smaller and the PO was way better, it's playble now. However, there is still
some rise of PO at certain parts, and it looks like there is something in the middle of the track (out of view)
that's causing it. Have anyone had the same issue as me? Is there a further way to fix this issue myself or
are there a fix out there somewhere?

*EDIT*
Just drove a 30 minute qualifying session and noted that the game does not count the second sector in the timings.
Laptimes are still fine, but the second sector does seem to be missing

I'm not sure about the PO issue. As for the sector splits, if you change the splits in the DAT to 670 rather than 67 it will solve that issue.

The same issue with Mexico 2017 RSCT. The first split is wrong. Withiun the dat-File I can see "31-10-2015|split1|345|split2|65|"
But if I change the second value from 65 to 650 with a text editor, GP4 isn't able to load the track anymore. How to change the split value?

Open the dat file with GP4 Builder > Click on Track Sectors > Select Initial Sector > in the pop-up Track Properties click on Show GP4 Infos Data > adjust the Split values and save the dat file.

Strangely, when you amend the split 2 to 650 and save the .dat file, it doesn't keep the new figure, if you reopen the .dat file, the figure has reverted back to 65!

I fixed the dat file: [www.mediafire.com]

I also noticed that the dat file doesn't have any track camera's.

You still have to import the track camera's from another recent Mexico track dat file.

This fix is for 2016-RSCT, and not for 2017-RSCT, correct?

The dat files of Mexico 2016 and 2017 by RSCT are the same. New download link with the fixed sector splits (and with track cameras): [www.mediafire.com]
