Save problem [Solved]

So basically, when I am playing with mods and I try to load a saved state the game can't load it. Sometimes, then after some days it can.

What do?

It's difficult to say, I have no idea. Which mods does it happen
with? Sometimes in a race weekend the save option is grey and you can't choose it, but if you go into the next session and then press ESC in the pits you can then save ..

All of them, 1993, 1997, 1988, and 2020. It didn't always happen.

Are you using CSM? Maybe you have a corrupted GP4 installation if you are running all those mods in the same installation? Honestly I have no idea

I cannot run them all in the same installation? I mean when I open CSM there is just the list of the different mods for choosing.

I don't use CSM so I don't know. I manually install the mods and have an installation for each season, with CSM and all the file swapping I must have had bad luck with it because it always messed up. Hopefully someone else can help you.

Not true! The idea of csm is to have many mods in 1 installation. i have currently installed 35 mods in 1 gp4 installation and never had any problems. just make sure, that your gp4 installation is clean and not modified in anyway. if your game crashes, just click "restore" once you start csm again.
about your save-problem: i have the same issue (both with and without csm), i think it's just a problem of gp4. but as salvasirignano says; start the next session, press Esc and save the game from there.

First of all:

1. It does not let me install the game, but I can play it anyways. When I try to install it says that there is one of the data cab archives missing, 1 or 2.

2-When I try to install 9.6 patch it says that the game is not installed on this machine.

3-Save: I usually do it in the game's folder.

4-Install, when I was able to I installed it in either program files ( knew after that this should not be done) or in the desktop itself. Or in the GP4 folder alone.

Download this to your desktop and extract it and run it. It is your new installation of GP4. It should save and load correctly, if you save games to GPSAVES within this folder. Don't copy it to anywhere else on your computer, like C:Programs or it might not work.
