HELP! The AI is so slow at the beginning of the race!

After several tests I notice that the solution helps because the AI close faster the door but the slow acceleration remains almost the same.

The best solution I found was

increase the player 1st gear ( in my case Interlagos 1980 I set the player 1st gear to 30 and AI to 26 ). I still can pass some cars but much more difficult.
AI Grip also helps but also not very effective.

It was the only solution I found to have a more realistic race start in this circuit.

Hope someone discover a better one someday.

some new findings on this subject, maybe not much to the great experts we have here .

your suggestion help to make difficult to overtake many cars but still there's a big difference between player acceleration and cc cars.

I was not able to find any better solution to solve this problem.

I decided then to test the old GP4 physics ( original 2001 ).

Well guys seems that the problem is located on the 1980 physics.

Now I will try to check the parameter responsible for this.

Anyway thanks a lot for the help ( at least I understand much more about MD )

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!

On the Engine folder of GP4 Physics editor just adjust the Flywheel inertia to values equal or lower than 0.05.

Pedro's 1980 Mod was using it with 0.065 and although it affects all cars ( player and cc ) seems that it have a higher weight on the behavior of cc cars on the race start.

Now i can go back to my new Renault sound to this fantastic season!!!!
