The interface between players and organiser would be a thread I think. I'd run it all on a spreadsheet in the background.

Real Drivers, all of them
People wanted real drivers, boy they are going to get a lot.
I have found a neat sheet with ELO rating for each driver after each race since 1950
I think i'll use every driver who has completed 5 seasons, their skill would be defined by their average ELO rating at the end of their 5 best seasons. Their variation by the difference between their peak Elo and their top 5 average.
