Oval tracks

I have collected a bunch of 12+ oval tracks some time ago - I tested them all meanwhile - some have bugs I didn't try to solve so far but mostly they are ok and fun to drive. They would surely be useful if someone wants to race a NASCAR season (I might convert a bunch of cars later on for that purpose...).
If there's interest for that kind of racing I will post some screenshots next week...

I have an interest in having more actual carsets tbh, than what you usually do (it's not like I have 0 interest to elder cars - just saying :-) ). But that's just my preference. The more we have to chose from - the better.
Also it would be really amazing to actually have more oval circuits, like Daytona, Nazareth, Pocono, Phoenix, Fontana. I had an "IndyCar Series" (2003) game maybe even before I got GP4, and I enjoyed playing the oval races. At GP4 I remember I had Talladega oval providing some really enjoyable races and some scary, yet natural-looking crashes for my races (I always had to tweak a perf file to severily lower the gap between the bhp values though to make the cars being packed up).

Some shots from the ovals #16 and #17: the first one could be Indy, the other one I don't know.
The background story is that I once found a mod called 'Grand Prix 4 500K'. I didn't get it to work but, curious as I am, I tried to run the included tracks.
Unfortunately I didn't find any note that told me who made them or which tracks they are...

So I may put them all in a folder and share them with you...
But first I want to convert some nice NASCAR car to make the whole business more realistic, haha...

The first one is surely Indy 500. This orange sunset sky always looked odd to me on that track btw - good we can change the skybox file on ourselves

Any new or updated tracks for GP4 are great. Running on a small oval or near oval (i.e. the Brazilian "Roval" or Norisring) can be quite fun as a lot happens all at once and you have to stay alert.

I have this IndyCar Series game of 2003 as well. I always got sick when driving 250 laps in Richmond. :( ;-)
