Slight gain for me but not overly impressed with the race result at all after a bad qualifying. Bring on the next round I should say.

Just wow.. The car was going backwards. Time to check what was going on, we have some time between races now.

The car just felt terrible, I feel bad not finishing inside the points.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

Well I'll animate the discussion by asking if anyone is interested in a database i'm making using ELO rankings to rate historic drivers' skill in GP4.

I make an average of each driver's best 5 season's ELO rating and then convert it into skill ingame. The difference between the 5 season's average and a driver's best ELO determines the variation.

I'm halfway through, if someone wants the final product I'll share.

Yep they were true F1 experts, didn't you know ?

(More seriously, ELO is a rating system which functions by comparing drivers, players, teams, whatever sports you've picked. It determines the likelihood of someone beating someone else based on past results. If you beat someone, the more likely you were to be beaten, the more points you win and vice versa).

I have done similar in the past using a SD of race/qual results within a season to create variability.
